Postage Stamp Cufflinks

The first stamp was called the penny black, and it went on sale on the 1st of May 1840, being valid five dayslater on May 6th. Just two days later, the penny blue came into being. Both stamps show an engraving of Queen Victoria. Stamps were officially perforated only fourteen years later in January of 1854. Stamps have their own unique history.
